Historic Clough Tavern Farm invites you to join us in celebrating the farm’s main crops: Raspberries & Teeswater Sheep.
It’s a Raspberries and Wool Day on the farm!
- Pick Your Own patch open, information about growing raspberries, and raspberry-inspired goodies.
- Learn about our new sheep breed—Teeswater, listed as critical by the Livestock Conservancy.
- If you’re interested in the history of this special breed, take a look at the summary on the American Teeswater Sheep Association’s website
- See some fast facts about Teeswaters at the Livestock Conservancy site, where they are listed as critically endangered.
- Stop in the farm shop featuring wool products and Two Sisters’ Garlic herb and spice blends.
- Chat with the wool demonstrators and other local craftspeople with wares for sale, plus antiques, window restoration and a craft for children to make.
- Farm-style drinks and light lunch for sale at The Yellow House.
